FAQ

Homemaker services are suitable for seniors, people with disabilities/injuries, or infirm adults. These services can be made available full-time or for a few hours a week.

Spending quality time with the family is more precious than those devoted to doing household chores. As homemaker service providers, we unburden you of such chores and take over the following tasks:

  • Making the Beds
  • Running Errands
  • Grocery Shopping
  • Laundry Chores
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Meal Planning
  • Home Organization
  • Pet and Plant Care (Select Locations)
  • Washing Dishes

Through companion care, we make it possible for seniors or those with health issues to continue participating in social activities. We offer companionship and assistance by conversing, going on outings, helping with hobbies, and running errands for them.

This way, families can confidently go about their daily business knowing that their loved one is in the care of a trustworthy companion. The relationship-building activities involve:

  • Escorting People (Social Gatherings and Friendly Visits)
  • Gardening and Scrapbooking (Hobbies)
  • Memoirs and Private Correspondence
  • Prescription Reminders
  • Purchases and Errands

With personal care services available, people with physical and mental disabilities get assistance with tasks they used to do on their own. These may range from bathing to dressing to oral care and more.

We make sure that they are presentable and self-assured all day and help them get ready for the day as they use the restroom, shower, brush their teeth, and put on clothes. The personal assistance tasks we do include:

  • Bathing and Dressing
  • Changing Adult Underwear
  • General Hygiene
  • Personal Grooming
  • Hair Care
  • Oral Care
  • Perineal Care
  • Repositioning (for Bed-Bound Individuals)
  • Restroom Assistance
  • Skin Care
  • Supporting Physical Therapy Exercises

Caring for elderly loved ones or PWDs can be demanding and caregivers need to take occasional breaks. At Aging In Your Place, we take satisfaction in providing respite care services to help families get adequate rest.

We’re here to support caregivers by allowing them to physically and emotionally replenish themselves and avoid burnout. Our program offers short-term relief, from a few daytime hours to overnight stays.

This service is meant to handle frequently occurring non-medical chores. The respite care tasks we carry out include the following:

  • Assistance With Personal Care, Including Bathing, Dressing, and Hygiene
  • Accompanying Clients to the Grocery Store or Doctor’s Appointments
  • Assistance With Running Errands
  • Companionship To Maintain Their Social Engagement
  • Preparing Meals

Having someone over to help with meal preparation, snacking, and bathroom use is assured by an overnight care service. This is ideal for people having trouble staying asleep all night or those who often wake up feeling disoriented.

Caregivers provide a few hours of care before bed and in the morning while remaining at home the entire time during overnight care.

In addition to companionship and housekeeping assistance, the following personal care services are provided by overnight caregivers:

  • Bathing and Dressing
  • Changing Adult Underwear
  • General Hygiene
  • Grooming and Skincare
  • Hair Care
  • Oral Care
  • Perineal Care
  • Repositioning (if Bed-Bound)
  • Restroom Assistance
  • Supporting Physical Therapy Exercise
